Evaluate what's wrong

Maybe it just needs service or a quick repair.

Is your machine seized, skipping stitches, hard to turn the hand-wheel? Let us know what's wrong (if anything). It saves us time and we can hone-in on the problem without having to do a search and rescue.

Service the machine

Computerized or Mechanical Sewing Machine.

We'll provide a thorough cleaning, inspection, lubrication and adjustments as required. We'll also check for any broken parts once your machine is open and we can look inside.

Make sure it's sewing properly

We'll test it.

Once cleaned and serviced, we'll sew some samples with your machine and make any further adjustments it may need. Once we're happy, we'll provide you with a sample sewn on your machine.

Service includes the following:

  • Full cleaning of your sewing machine
    Thread and other debris may build up inside of your machine causing several common issues. Often a good old fashion cleaning is all you need!
  • Sewing Machine oil is applied to your machine once it has been cleaned
    It's important to make sure your sewing machine is properly oiled. Running a sewing machine dry creates friction which may lead to mechanical errors.
  • Check & Adjust Top & Bottom Tensions
  • Check & Adjust the Timing
  • Check & Adjust Feed Dog timing, Check Belts, Check Automatic Needle Threaders, Check Thread Cutters, Check Bobbin Winders, Check & Adjust Needle Bar, Check Bobbin Case, clean and buff out any burrs, Check Gears, Check Motor, Check All Sensors, Check All Circuit Boards, Screens & other electronic components.

What to Bring for Service:

  • Sewing Machine and Cover
  • Bobbin & Bobbin Case
  • Foot Control
  • Power Cord
  • Standard zig-zag presser foot and needle plate
  • If bringing an embroidery machine, be sure to bring an embroidery hoop and the embroidery foot, too.
  • Stitch samples and thread if you are having a problem with the stitch quality
